Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale looks up curiously. "What hit?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
" 'What hit?' You don't remember? It was less than two hours ago. You were in your room, acting up. . and well, you hit me. . . and i hit you back. You were knocked out for an hour. . . you don't remember?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale looks puzzled. "....You hit me? I remember a tree... Maybe I was hallucinating."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"A tree?" He looks out the window to the woods. What scared One the most was that Gale didn't hit him. He was fighting with himself. "Well, alright then." One is about to walk away when he suddenly remembers. "Hey, did you go over the information on that disc I gave you?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Haven't checked it yet." Gale goes to the desk and starts the laptop. After a minute, he places the disk in.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
A window just outside the library slides open, seemingly on it's own. Silently, Fury One drops onto the sill and crouches to fit through it. He hops down and walks quietly to the library doors, taking wide steps to cover the short distance faster. His back meets the wall next to the doors and he holds this position. He knew Gale would be in the library, of course, and the sound of his voice proved it.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale begins going into the files on the laptop. "I heard someone open a window."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Peh." Fury One takes a step back in reaction to Gale's comment and keeps his back against the wall, suspecting One may come out to find the open window.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One also heard the noise of the window opening. "I'll check it out." One walks to the door and checks outside. He finds the window open, but sees nobody nearby. One shrugs, closes the window and goes back into the library. "It seems we have visitors."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Maybe.." Gale attempts to access the database Rose stole from the outpost, but the computer locks up and then crashes. ".........How ****ing typical." Gale grabs the laptop and tosses it into a nearby wall.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One's eyes follow the flying laptop. He's trying hard not to get on Gale's nerves today, as so far he seems to be calmer than last night. "The brat not only got caught by the Angels, she didn't even complete the task correctly."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Her presence had remaind dormant for a while, but now she had returned, and was standing by the smoking laptop. Her entire body was charred badly, to the point where bone was visible. Her face was especially badly burned, and almost half of the skin on her face was missing. This, however, does not hide the fact that she was wearing a crushed expression. "You... you left me..."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"You were dead, I couldn't do anything else...I'm....sorry...."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
He hears Gale talking to himself again. "Damnit. . . " One looks in the direction of where Gale is looking, and sees the laptop. "No one is there, Gale. Who are you talking to?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
She approaches Gale, a tear rolling down her exposed cheekbone. "I.. I'm sorry.. This.. is my punishment..." She reaches out to put a hand on his face. Her hand is not really there, but Gale's face is as cold as ice.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I'm not sure if this is real or not anymore..." Gale slumps down to the ground. "Do you hate me? ...Please...don't hate me..."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
She kneels down in front of him. "No.. never..."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Thank you. ....I'll end it soon. I'll destroy all of it. Heaven, Hell, Earth, and everyone on them. Then neither of us have to suffer...I promise."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Fury's eyes narrow at Gale's words. Destroy it all? The Abbis really had lost it because of the Siren's death. Or, at least, his insanity had been accelerated by it. Fury already knew all this, but had to hear it himself for some reason he couldn't quite pin down. The man actually cared for that creature, which was saying a lot. It was sad, really, but pity wouldn't do anyone any good now. He really does want to end it all, and for that reason there is only one solution to his suffering. That was also sad in it's own way, but it would have to be done. He just hopes someone else will do it for him.
Still, he could try talking to the man once more. That would confirm his intentions for sure, or perhaps by some stray chance he might not actually be that crazy after all. Hopeful thinking. Fury rounds the corner and enters through the open library door. "...You'll 'End it all'?" |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One looks up as he hears the voice. "There's the visitor."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gae looks up at Fury One and sneers. "I take it you want to stop me.."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
She stands and backs away. "I will try my best.. not to cause any more harm to you..." She brings her hands to her face and lets her tears flow. It is in this position that she disappears, causing the room to drop ten degrees in temperature.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale face softens and he looks away from Fury One. "....I promse that soon you won't have to cry..."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Fury, look, I don't want you to get hurt. Just turn around now and leave."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Stop you? That's your decision, Gale. Do you honestly think you'll pull it off?" The Fury brother's dark red eyes again seem to glow in a subtle way as he stares Gale down. He doesn't respond to One's warning, and merely glances at him, his eyes flashing brighter for a split second.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale stands and let's out a laugh. "Pull it off? It can be done easily."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
He scowls angrily at Gale. His eyes flash again but this time remain bright. "Easily? You think you could destroy this world easily? The forces that have begun gathering will destroy you as every one before you has..." He pauses, considering his words. "...Did you learn nothing from Shiloko?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Shiloko was a foolish child, relying on nothing but himself. I shall not make the same mistake. Warn your little brother and his allies if you like, or attack me and lose. It does not matter, but my patience with you is growing thin."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Attack you? Here? Peh! What kind of a fool do you take me for, Gale? Should I have to strike, you would not know until it's too late. But the decision is still yours to make. Unless you wish to just kill me now."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I have no fear of you. I have fought both Fury Three and Nyx, neither of them defeated me. I'll allow you to live, for now. If only to see what pathetic resistance you throw at me to try to prevent the imminent destruction that awaits."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Ah, yes, you have fought Nyx. I am nothing like him. You underestimate what I am, much as you underestimate Rand. I won't even sully my own hands dealing with you." He turns for the window. "You know... The only reason I've left Nyx alive is so he can kill you." A wicked smile crosses Fury's face, and he leaps out the open window.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One had been near the back listening to the conversation. He was on Fury One's side, but decided not to speak up. He wondered what Fury had planned. After he leaves, One just stands there, staring at the broken laptop.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I fear neither Rand nor his 'sons', I shall destroy all four of you if I must." Gale turns around and eventually finds a chair. He sits down and contemplates what his next move will be.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One shakes his head to himself. He himself didn't even know what to do anymore. He exits the castle and goes about his business.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
A few hours later, Gale is cycling through his books at a rapid pace, tossing the ones he deems worthless to the side. He had been at it for a while, and had begun to become frustrated. "Gr...where the hell did I put it?" Suddenly his cell phone rings and he flips it open. "Gale. .....What? ......A cabin? How intresting. ....I want it monitered, find out who lives there. .....Your pay? When your job is finished you shall recieve it." Gale shuts off the phone. The development was intresting, but the interuption annoyed him, he quickly resumes his search.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One walked into the library once again, only to find it in ruins. He looks around for a second and sees Gale. He slowly approaches him. "Gale, it's been a week now. I've really fallen behind on my work and training, so I have to continue my travels. I'm leaving right now."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Very well, goodbye One. I do hope you accomplish whatever it is you're trying to before it's to late."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"And good luck to you, Gale. I wish the best for you." One turns around, what did he expect? He pondered the question as he walks and exits the castle. He is about to enter the woods when he turns around for one last time to look at the castle. He didn't know when would be the next time he saw this place. "Remember Gale, that which you believe is your greatest weakness, is really your greatest strength." One continues through the woods, knowing he would have a rough time ahead of him, training. He decided to stop by Tri-Link's to stock up first.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale nods to One as he leaves and goes back to his search. He suspected One would not just allow him to move ahead with his plans, but that was of little importance at the moment. He needed to find the book that made the refrence to what he needed... He looks through the books, sighing at the fact that when he never needed a particular book he always knew exactly where it was.

Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
A few hours later, Laena's image appears once again. This time her aura is not one of fear, but of calm. She has her hands covering her face, she apparently does not want Gale to see what new tortures she's faced in the past hours. The image stands silently in the corner of the library, trying not to be noticed.
